The history of block paving can be traced back two thousand years to the time of the Romans who marched across Europe, forging an empire and creating a network of sophisticated road and pathways

These roads as everything else in those days was built to last, and their strength and durability is evedent to this day as many roads have survied - a testimony to the strength of the interlocking paving

It was the Romans who discovered that by laying blocks in an interlocking pattern on a granular material, makes the paving very tough and resilient to to collapsing under a heavy load, which allows the weight of any object, large or small, to be distributed across the surface of the paved area.
